“Unknown Unknowns”

In the current war with Iran, there are numerous conservative and libertarian personalities (eg. Tucker Carlson) who are as opposed to the action as most leftists (for different reasons). A lot of the controversy revolves around the Israeli involvement. I'm not going to claim (as many do) that opposition to Israeli behavior is an act of "anti semitism" but there is an odd passion a lot of people have in their criticism's of Israel. It's certainly reasonable to question the influence this one country has over American foreign policy but, in the end, when there's a conflict between a relatively democratic state and a ruthles dictatorship, I typically favor the free nation.

We're still very much in the "unknown unknown" phase of the war. It could nosedive into chaos or usher in an era of extended peace in the region. Either way, now's not the time to show one's support for a belligerant terror regime.

(As a reminder, the isolated -- selectively -- "antiwar" protests in America often have people holding cookie cutter signs by "INTERNATIONAL ANSWER," a communist organization that supports the North Korean dictatorship and the CCP 's crackdown on students in Tiananmen Square).

Making the Case

Certainly public debate will rage on during the war with Iran, as it should. THIS brief overview from Sky News covers the side that supports the mission quite well.

The "fog of war" will no doubt be in play as it is in all martial conflicts but, the initial attack was very well executed. Media and the instant protest complex will conjure pictures of us bogged down in an unwinnable quagmire. The fact is that Iran has been badly weakened. While America has already experienced its first casualties, "boots on the ground" are highly unlikily.

At this point, the only thing that stands in the way of success are the weasels of leftland and bureau-incompetence. Count among those, the western media, the Democrat party, the UN, and a smattering of countries either weak and pathetic or allied with other oppressive regimes.

Already, media talking heads are making bogus proclamations to the effect that "[Trump] has no plan or stated goals." In fact, his goals have been publically stated and made quite clear. As a military operation, the attack was virtually flawless, taking out most of the terror-state's leadership.

Right now, the wisest course of action would be to finish the job quickly and allow the citizens of Iran to flourish free of theocracy.

'Can't make THIS SHIT UP.

Ooopps. Not everyone is Trump-deranged.

The predictable march of blatent nonsense.

Lord Obama...could do no wrong.

It’s not like he didn’t warn them

War, like economics, is a practical issue. Despite the inevitable carnage, when free nations act with sober goals and actions the result can be positive — in the end, a more peaceful and democratic order.

It’s too early to know for certain where current actions in Iran will lead but the collapse of a powerful theocratic dictatorship would be a good thing but…

Within days, leftist groups across the West, along with Trump-deranged Democrats in America, will roll out the pre-packaged protest machine, seeking to undermine success.

If Kamala Harris, or any of the other leftist stooges had been elected, Iran would now be far along in developing a nuclear weapon and delivery systems more than capable of striking American cities.

Leadership requires practical analysis, skillful coordination, and decisiveness. “Orange man [may be ] bad,” but he runs rings around the flaccid ideologues that stand for nothing of substance.
